I had a horse weathervane that a dear friend gave me several years ago. It broke and I have missed it terribly. There are plenty available for hundreds of dollars, but nothing this size and price. This size is suitable for a modest-sized home. We have about 2000 sf under-roof, and this is small, but noticable. It adds a subtle touch of individuality to our home, and I like it a lot. My husband installed it in about 30 minutes; said it was much easier to install than the first one.

Im rating this 3 stars when I received my weathervain in great time. I top arrow piece don't fit proper there's a 1/2 inch gap so it didn't fit as close as it should have been. I painted the gap black so it didn't show up as badly. Didn't come with the mounting screws either.

The wife an I love this, it was just the thing to finish off a new garage. It took me about 20 minutes to gather the tools together, get the ladder out and install. It would have been 15 total if I had thought to bring the compass with me the first trip up, lol. The item came quickly and was well packaged. Super easy assembly and install. Mounting screws are not included but I can see the difficulty in providing something that would fit every situation. I used some lag bolts with washers and gooped them with some blackjack roofing sealant. We are very happy with it.
