I bought this silver dip in the hopes of revitalizing some of my older, tarnished silver jewelry. Wow! I couldn't have hoped for a better result! Literally, within 5 seconds, my older (almost black in color) sterling silver jewelry had been restored to a gleaming silver. And the product is so easy to use. You simply place your tarnished jewelry in the baset, dip the basket in the solution for a few seconds, and voila! You have gleaming silver necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I can't wait to try more Hagerty products to restore the luster of some of my sterling silver tableware, as well! I highly recommend this product!

I can't live without Hagerty silver dip. It makes polishing silverware a breeze and the service from this company was truly excellent. Would definitely order from them again.

It seems like I spent a fair amount of my youth polishing silver services and copper pans for my mother - I hate it! However, as an adult who recently inherited a portion of these treasures from my childhood I am deeply grateful that products such as this exist! If I didn't have this dip, my mother's long neglected silverware and sterling jewelry would still be stored in tarnished squalor. As this solution is extremely strong I wouldn't suggest that one use it on very fine pieces or those that are very old or fragile. I actually don't usually use this as a "dip" but moisten a soft cloth with it and gently rub it over the tarnished areas. A quick dip takes care of the gunk in decorative grooves but it will also remove any intentional blackened areas (such as that often seen in South Western jewelry). Common sense and prudence should prevail when using any strong solution and Hagerty's Flatware Silver Dip is no exception!

The productcleaned silver well and easily. The one problem is that the basket allows for only small or long and thin objects . To clean flat or larger silver objects i had to
transfer the cleaner into another container and then retransfer it bck to the original container when I was finished.

I have used this product for years and it is getting almost impossible to find in the stores so I thought I would check Amazon and of course, they had it. All you have to do is place your flatware in the basket inside the container, take it out, rinse it off and the silverware looks brand new. For larger pieces, you can pour a little bit of the liquid on a clean cloth and wipe the piece off, rinse and you're good to go!!!
