I do not expect this to ever need replacing. It came with all the necessary pieces and installed easily. Very sturdy, can easily hold 250 pound adult.

I bought these hangers for a swingset I was building for my one year old son.
I wanted a heavy duty product that would last for the life of the swingset as
my child grew. These are extremely heavy duty and would be suitable for a heavy
use school playground. If you buy these you won't regret it. Great quality and
delivery service from Swing N Slide.

5Bomb-Proof!May 25, 2012

This is a serious swing hanger. These hangers use a brass bushing and a 5/8" diameter bolt for the main swing hanger/pivot. The actual bracket that mounts to whatever you're hanging it from uses two 5/16" bolts. The holes are big enough to use a 3/8" bolt but they give you 5/16" to provide some wiggle room in case you drill the mounting holes a little bit crooked. I'm going to upgrade mine to 3/8" bolts but just haven't got around to it. The only other thing I did was take the hangers apart and put some wheel bearing grease on the brass bushing and on the bolt. It was squeaking a little bit but it's totally silent now and will probably wear better. No worries with these hangers, they are made right and will probably last forever. If the bushings ever wear out it looks like you could put another one in without replacing the whole hanger. They appear to be epoxied in place. Hope this helps.

Our neighbor has just built a swing set from scratch for us and we were responsible for getting all the fun accessories. I decided on this one because we wanted to be able to swing with our children, too. We have a very rambunctious boy who will inevitably find a way to break something - but not this thing! This sucker is heavy, durable and tough! Comes with all the hardware, including the 'S' hooks. I gave it four stars instead of five because it could have come with a more durable connection than the 'S' hook. I also gave it four out of five stars for the educational rating because your child can really learn about weight capacity and durability if you show them the connection and tell them about it. That then might promote questions of natural curiosity from your child like it did with ours! Happy swinging!
