Employees obviously don't care.May 04, 2011

Had to return first mail box as one of the boards was cut incorrectly, not securely glued. It popped out and warped.
Shipping was very fast. Replacement also arrived quickly. Holes in wood do not line up with holes on mail box and
one of the boards is short, but we will make do. Nice product if it was manufactured correctly.

Shipment and delivery was smooth and flawless. Some of the holes were undersize for my existing mounting hardware so I ended up cracking one of the cedar pieces as the holes didn't quite line up... probably my fault (nothing a little gorilla glue couldn't handle). Everything went well after I undersized the fasteners and got back to business.
It is a quality product. I would probably recommend that Solar Group at least quote a new post bracket system with each mailbox in order to avoid these type of hassles in future. thank you.

Item arrived earlier than expected arrival date. Product came in it's original box. Minor box damage but the material was in good condition. The wooden panels seem to be glued well in place. Painted it the next day with water lock paint. I'm sure this mailbox will last for a long time.

A week after I purchased and installed the mail box, two of the cedar wood strips fell off from the mail box. They were not attached to the mail box with sufficient adhesives and apparently they were not tested by the manufacturer. Obvious lack of quality control. I would not recommand this product.
