4Shop-Vac 2.5" Hose CouplingMar 22, 2003

This is just a plastic sleeve which fits over the end of two 2.5 inch diameter Shop-Vac brand hoses. There isn't any means to secure the hoses from pulling apart when using this item, so if you'll be pulling the vacuum around by the hose, you may need to whip out the duct tape or even apply Shoe Goop or other product to make the connection permanent.
For general "just need to connect two lengths of hoses" for extra reach, this works fine.
An inexpensive doodad for us manly Shop - Vac owners / operators! Comes in Shop - Vac BLACK plastic color only.

It really seems silly to review such a simple item, but what the heck. Shop-Vac nailed this item. It works perfectly to join an additional Shop-Vac extension hose to the hose supplied with the Shop-Vac. It would be more of a surprise if this didn't work as advertised since it's such a simple item.

Now I can vacuum the whole garage without having to move the Shop-Vac between electrical outlets. It's almost as good as having central vac in the garage.
