This is, hands down, the worst home-improvement product I've ever tried to use. To begin with, the box says to unroll it in a warm place before installing it. As soon as I did so, I discovered there was almost as much glue on the front of the molding as on the back, and a lot of it transferred to my floor and carpet. It's incredibly difficult to remove, and the box offers no help at all. I finally found that turpentine dissolves it (more or less). Then, after cutting a piece to fit, I found that the paper backing ripped rather than come off cleanly to expose the glue. More mess. At least, I thought, since the glue stuck to everything it shouldn't have, the molding should adhere well to the wall, right? Ha! Not a chance. Even stapling it in place for a couple of days didn't help -- as soon as I pulled the staples, the stuff fell off overnight.

This is a complete waste of any time and money you spend on it -- messy, nasty, and useless on an epic scale. Run away!

I have never written an online review before, but I am now motivated by my bad experience with this product. I have two complaints. First, the angled portion of the wall base that contacts the floor was wavy not straight once installed, even after rolling out the product overnight prior to installation. Second, the self-stick adhesive did not adhere to my recently painted walls. I came in to the office the next morning and half of the pieces I had installed were laying on the floor. The other half were coming away from the wall. I have no reason to believe that the wall surface or the room temperature were a factor. In the end, this product was a complete waste of my time and money.
