I wanted to like it, but I just can'tJan 31, 2012

I really wanted to like this wrench (the 10" model). I am an electrician who works with rigid conduit, and the thought of having a wrench that I did not have to adjust was impressive. After using the wrench myself on 1" and 3/4" conduit, and allowing others on my job site to try it as well, we all agree that the wrench performs horribly on 3/4" and 1" conduit. It simply does not grip the conduit and spins freely around it. I did not try it on larger conduit as the wrench is of no use to me if it does not work on the smaller sized conduits. I hope that one day Ridgid comes out with a wrench like this that actually grips the pipe. The idea is great but the execution is poor.
