4Qual - Craft Wall jacks make life easy!!!Aug 04, 2002

I bought a set of two of these to aid in the construction of my new house. I was able to raise 30 to 40 foot long walls of 2x6 construction with all headers installed, and sheathed on the exterior with 1/2 inch OSB!! No pain, no strain, and just myself and my wife. One consideration is to use long enough "handles" to avoid the potential fall zone. Couldn't have built solo without them. Great product!

4I'm a lumber jack, and I'm OK...Sep 03, 2004

Working solo I used one 2601Q to raise a 26ft long by 9 foot tall 2X6 wall with little problem. Jack tends to bind if the 2x4 is not smooth, and then the rachet requires persuasion using hammer taps.

4qual craft wall jackMay 29, 2003
By R. Stochl
The wall jack design is o.k. but I don't think it has the weight capacity it says it does. I tried to jack up a wall and the jack just stripped the wood 2x4. I used a clear doug-fir like it recomended.

5Definitely well worth it!Aug 23, 2005

I've been framing for over 20 years and have always used a crane or many guys to put up a wall. With these jacks, 2 guys can easily put up large walls. I highly recommend these wall jacks.
