Just had my 77 Nova repainted but I didnt have funds to re-chrome the bumpers and trim. Blacked out the bumpers, trim along with the front grill and taillights...It gave my Nova a sinister look. This Spray can do alot. I also used it to waterproof a few leaks.

I bought this to recolor the interior of my car, unsure of what I needed to actually do the job. Then unsure of what to expect coming out of the can, I tested a few sprays of this on an ordinary plastic bottle, figuring plastic has to be one of the harder surfaces to adhere to. The end effect was beautiful! Great coverage in only two coats (on the actual door), moderate odor, dries very fast regardless of the heat or cold (I ended up doing this in the cold at 38F outside)and dries looking like actual vinyl.

After the surface was dried, I decided to test the dried result: scratching it with my nails, with sandpaper and the scrub side of a kitchen sponge, and the paint stands up extremely well! Yes, with enough elbow grease in scrubbing the sprayed WILL pull apart, but that's more than everyday wear and tear on a car door will ever apply.

One car door done, definitely ordering more for the rest! Much better than I thought it would be.

I purchased plasti dip to black out the emblems on my car, and was EXTREMELY hesitant to do it.

I knew I was in love with this product after the first coat. My friend and I couldn't find enough stuff to plasti dip to settle our compulsive need to use it on whatever we could find.

A word of advice before using this stuff: look up on youtube some videos of people using it for the application you intend to use it for. People use it for everything and there are a bunch of videos out there explaining tips and tricks to doing a great job.

It is easy to do an okay job, and you cant hurt anything with this stuff, it rubs right off car paint with your finger with ease (watch out for overspray though, if it mists onto a surface it can be time consuming to get it off)...but to do a great job requires a little experience playing around with it.

It changes texture over time, most of the change occurs over the first 24 hours and then happens over the course of around a month. I really like the texture of the surface and it really seems to hold up over time.

I will never again be caught without a can of this stuff on hand in the garage.

I put the stuff on my play station 3 controller... Now they don't slip off of things anymore and also have much better grip!
