I love this stuff. I've used it on 2 cylinder heads and after thousands of miles they're both leak free.

I used this recently when I changed the fluid in the rear diff. of my 97 Explorer. Didn't need a gasket just the RTV. Seals great and no leaks. The car has 150K and I noticed a leak so I pulled the cover and it has no gasket. So someone had changed the fluid before many miles ago and used an unknown gasket maker. It was worn out but I was happy the fluid wasn't to dirty and not much had leaked out. Cleaned off the old sealant and painted the cover. I followed the directions on the RTV and installed the cover. I waited overnight to refill. Not necessary but I noticed a brake line was badly rusted and needed to replace that. After replacing the brake line I filled the diff. up with new synthetic gear oil and no leaks.

I bought this in order to seal some parts of my car's valve cover mating surfaces.The shop I paid for the timing belt service to be done did not do a good job.Valve cover gasket never leaked before, it started leaking after they put a new gasket.Obviously they did not clean the mating surfaces.I did the job myself since I did not trust the mechanics at that particular shop.It does not leak now.
This product also helped me repair parts of glass molding (rubber parts around the rear glass) that started cracking, falling off.
All in all it is a great product and is worth the money.

so this sat around for awhile before i used it and sure enough i go to use it and the top of the UNOPEN tube is hardened and unuse able this is BS and i cant even retuen it

Used this to fill in a couple holes at the bottom rear of a WTB mountain bike seat, works great, looks ok. Also filled gaps on a Garmin eTrex's "rubber band" after cutting it short (long story). Good for general repairs like these, easier to work with than Goop, and is opaque. Isn't easy to get a smooth surface, so I cut off tendrils and bumps when dried. Despite the name, the color is actually dark gray (close enough for what I'm doing).
