I'm a cop and I use this product to keep my hand cuffs in good working order. I'm sure there are many uses for this stuff but for what I use it for its great! I recommend this product.

When you have the need to make surfaces interact together more smoothly with less friction, this is your item. At times you can't use a liquid product for various reasons. this powdered graphite has many applications. I'm currently using mine to lubricate the ballhead camera mount on a tripod. It allows me to more fluidly pan & rotate the camera's view with far less jerky scene transitions.

I have used this particular powdered lubricant for years. I use it when the locks to my house become hard to work. I put a little bit on the key, insert the key into the lock and the lock works great again. I was having a hard time finding it at the local hardware store and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it on Amazon. The price was good and it was shipped and received promptly without my ever having to leave my house!!!

Driver's side door lock wouldn't turn; got tired of going around to unlock passenger side in order to get into my car. This did the trick; much better than WD40 for this application.

Works great in areas you don't want grease but want some lubrication. Dry powder graphite is great in small areas that are either hard to get grease into or you don't want grease in. Like printers and small stuff. Anyhow, this product works fine and is a good price for the size of tube you get.
