5LOVE THIS PANJan 12, 2006
By OneTiredMom
I've got two of these pans. This pan is a MUST for anyone who cooks meatloaf! I've had mine for over 5 years and I've never had a problem with it. It's amazing to see how much grease actually drips to the bottom of the pan. I gave one to a friend who loves meatloaf and was always complaining about all the grease left behind in her old pans. And she LOVES it too.

Great buy....

5Fantastic! I tried three and this was the best!Jun 12, 2009

This product is fantastic -- I tried a Chicago Metallic one (http://www.amazon.com/Chicago-Metallic-Duncan-Lo-Fat-Meatloaf/dp/B001CS6XO6/ref=cm_cr-mr-title) and a OvenStuff one ( ). The Chicago Metallic was way too shallow; the OvenStuff one was deeper, but this Nonpro was the deepest, so you end up with a very-close-to-normal-size meatloaf, even though you're using a grease-cutting-insert (which obviously means there has to be space at the bottom). I will say that if I'd only bought the OvenStuff, I would have been totally happy with it b/c it was deeper than the Chicago Metallic and I would have thought this was as deep as you can get with this sort of two-piece "low-fat" meatloaf pan... but, like I said, this Nonpro one is deeper! The only reason I haven't decided which I'm keeping yet, of these two, is because the OvenStuff is made-in-America, and that's important to me. I wouldn't keep it if it was made-in-America and too shallow, but it's not too shallow, it's just not as deep as this Nonpro. Anyway, I hope my review is helpful for others, in spite of my own indecisiveness.

5Good Reason To Have MeatloafApr 27, 2008

We gave this pan as a gift because we like ours so much.
It's a great reason to have meatloaf - the grease drains away and cleanup is easy.

5this great pan does double duty, ya know...Aug 06, 2009

This is a hefty set - great for making my delicious meatloaf. And when you set the insert aside, you've got a great loaf pan for breads and cakes. I've often made banana bread in this pan, from my own recipe that starts with a box of muffin mix. It's non-stick and easy to clean, too. I still love this set after 10 or 11 years of ownership. I think every cook would be happy with this versatile set for years to come. BTW, my pan has never rusted. Be very gentle when you clean; it only needs a soft touch.

4Great pan but watch for rust.Jul 07, 2009
By Mom246nunder
As far as non-sticks go this is THE best loaf pan- the coating amazingly does not flake off. I will never buy anything Wilton's again because their non-stick is horrid and you will likely end up eating it- Norpro, on the other hand, knows what they are doing. This pan rusted for me after just 2 years in the corners and bottom holes. If you live in a humid climate or do not completely dry the pan it WILL rust. Still gets four stars because I'm sure I'm partly to blame for the rust issue.
