I was having a problem with shorter latches due to them being attached to a concrete wall. Overtime the concrete began to crack since it was so near the edge and eventually there was nowhere left to attach a latch to. I finally found this latch, which allowed me to mount it much further back onto the concrete wall, where the wall is much stronger. This very heavy duty latch has been working flawlessly since I installed it about 4 months ago. There has never been a time when it didn't latch or get stuck. I would definitely recommend this latch.

I got this gate latch because a regular one from Home Depot wasn't long enough due to the part metal frame of the gate. This is a nice heavy duty latch and installation was a breeze too.

Love this latch. It really feels solid and hefty. I had an old latch that didn't work in the summer when the wood in the fence and gate shrank. The old latch wouldn't cover the gap. The bar on this is really long and even adjusts up and down. Now the gate latches in all weather conditions. Very easy to open too. Hasn't gotten stuck yet.
