Love this Soap Makes Black Cars Shine Like Crazy ....Brought the Color Back After a HurricaneSep 15, 2011

I only use Meguiars products on my 2008 black clearcoated car and they def keep it looking brand new. People always talk about how shiney my car looks and ask me how I get it like that (see profile pic). I just bought the car in January and the paint job was so black and shiney you could check yourself out in it. Like staring at black water. But after a fender bumper I had a couple months ago, PLUS Hurricane Irene, I had stopped keeping up with cleaning it like I used to. After a week of nothing but rain, and on top of that a 3 day hurricane, my car looked dull greyish black. Almost like granite.

I hadn't really touched the car except for a couple drive thru car washes and thats it. The car just didn't look the same to me after the accident so I wasnt that into keeping it shiney like I used to. But after the hurricane the paint looked so dead I didn't think I'd get it back. So I finally handwashed it with this soap, then sprayed Meguiar's G17516 Ultimate Quik Wax and finshied with Meguiar's G14422 Ultimate Quick Detailer with nothing but a microfiber towels. And now the car looks just like it did when I first bought it.

I had used nothing but the quick detailer before (was too lazy to really wash it), but that didn't bring the color back. The deep black didn't come back until I put this soap on it, and it got even shinier after the wax and detailer. I used this soap because another storm was coming and I didn't want my baby going through another storm so it would get even worse. I'll actually wash my car with this right before I know its gonna rain instead of after, because it makes the raindrops slide right off the paint. I come out the day after a storm and my cars the only one in the lot that actually looks like it's been washed and not rained on with dirty water. No spots.. nothing. Just shine. This soap would probably leave any car shine like crazy but If you've got a black one with an expensive clear coat then this is the only soap I'd get to keep it like that.

I read about this product on line after purchasing 2 new cars.This product is fabulous as it leaves a luxourious and glossy shine without compromising the wax or color of your car. This product glides on smoothly and my husband loves the fact that it leaves no streaking and the dirt just glides off. Wiil definitely purchase again!!!

THIS PRODUCT (MEGUIAR'S SOFT WASH) IS JUST FANTASTIC. IT IS SAFE FOR THE NEW CAR FINISH AND MAKES PLENTY OF SUDS AND DOES A GOOD JOB.

Wash all glass surfaces and then coat with Rain-X. In my experience of using the combination for years, best combo for rain drinched areas.
