I thought my metal table top was ready to use after one day of drying. Wrong! Cure time is 7 days! I have use this product on other outdoor metal furniture. It does OK stopping rust. I have also used the spay-on black Hammerite which seems to be better at stopping rust.

This stuff is great for metal rust prublems. I have a wrought iron railing around my porch, always a pain to keep from rusting, untill this hammerite encapsuling paint. Great stuff, somewhat hard to apply with a brush, but self leveling. Best to put on in cooler temp., if real hot like painting with pennut butter. Need lacqure thinner for clean up. The 44260 is White in color even though the pix. shows black.
