Simply stated, this product is the most amazing invention of the last 20 years! I have never found any type of pet hair this won't remove. I have had mine for 5 years and it's still going strong. Occasionally, give it a good wash with mild soap, let it dry and it's good to go. Works great for auto upholstery and carpets, all types of furniture, rugs, lamp shades, comforters, etc. We have a dog and 2 long-haired cats and it helps keep our house a lot less "fuzzy"!

I found one of these in a fabric store years ago and am still using it. It definitely works. I could make a new cat from all the fur this thing has picked up over the years. I think of it as an "eraser" - it works like one. Perfect for upholstered things and clothes. A few swipes or swirls, if fur deposit is heavy, and the area is fur free. I've never rinsed mine. I just pull the collected hair off with my fingers. But after a while, the Gonzo starts to break down a bit and crumble. Mind you, this is after a long while. Like I said, I've had mine for years and am just now thinking about replacing it. I almost gave it 4 stars because of the crumbling, but that would be silly - after 6 years, the darn thing ought to crumble. I think it's brilliant.

I use this on some of my upholstered furniture and it picks up the cat fur perfectly. The fur merely balls up and you pick it off. Getting rid of fur in your home isn't a one tool process, but this one is definitely a good one to have. It works on furniture where even my Scotch tape type lint rollers do no good. The other positive thing about this particular tool, is that you don't have to buy anything else to keep it functioning...no rolls of tape, filters, etc. It's inexpensive and maint. free.

that's all it does is sweep it away. Unlike a lint brush, the hair doesn't exactly stay on the sponge but instead it deposits in clumps where you ended your sweep. Isn't bad if you don't mind having to pick up or sweep the hair later. If I had a choice between a classic lint brush and this, I would choose the lint brush just because it's faster and you don't have to pick up anything afterwards. I will definitely use this sponge but only when I have time to deal with the leftovers.

Simply put, this works better than any vacuum brush or attachment. (I am also including the felt hair removal attachment when I say that.)

I have three cats and a huge, black-colored sectional couch. The Gonzo gets hair up off the furniture no matter how much or how little is on it. As soon as this one dies, I will be purchasing a new one, guaranteed.
