I was very disappointed with this product. There is so little tackiness on the two side of this product that it just doesn't stick to the bottom of the rug.

4Functions as intended with a little helpMar 26, 2009

This product is intended for throw rugs and accent rugs that are placed on top of carpeting. It is supposed to keep the throw rugs and accent rugs from slipping on the carpet. In our house, the rugs slip badly after only a few times of walking over them, with constant bending down to reposition them.

This nonslip rug pad sticks aggressively to the carpet, yet pulls up easily for repositioning.

However, the throw rugs and accent rugs slip on the "nonslip" pad. I ended up using double-sided carpet tape on the underside of the rugs, and that did the trick - no more slippage of the rugs on the carpeting.

This is the only product out there that I could find to keep throw rugs and accent rugs from slipping on carpeting.

For our carpet on top of our rug, this has held it better than the mesh style pad. My rug would buckle daily without it. It still has the tendency to shift a bit but it is manageable.

For 3 months I used this 8 X 10 size rug pad between a low-pile carpet and an oriental rug. It caused pure misery and created a very dangerous situation. Not only did huge lumps and buckles rise in the oriental, but the pad itself bunched up and, because of the stickiness, was impossible to pull smooth again while it was in place. Yesterday, I could stand it no longer and, with great difficulty, moved my HEAVY furniture, took up this pad, and put it in the trash! What a waste of money!

The item wasn't what I wanted. I contacted the seller and they authorized a return. I followed their directions. They've had the item at their warehouse for two weeks yet they claim that they haven't found it yet and have delayed returning my money. I will not buy from them again. They are not honest and they have not kept their word.
