I was amazed to feel how much air comes through the wall outlets. I found these neat little things and thought I would give them a shot.

You can cut these to fit almost any outlet. They come with perforations in the center to punch out the two circles. I don't have those types of outlets. I have the square ones so I just cut them to fit. Works!

These will stop most of the draft coming from outlets. They don't stop it fully, but they can be installed very easily, as opposed to try and seal the electric box, or to replace it with an airtight one once the wall is finished.

They are so easy and simple, they're genius. I have a very old home and you can always feel cold air coming through the outlets. Not anymore! Only took about 2 seconds to install. It is literally the easiest, quickest fix ever, and I don't know why all outlets on outside walls aren't required to have these.
