This sweep works very well but it requires very careful and precise installation especially when your door bottom isn't level and swings over uneven tile like ours. It works when door bottoms don't as in our case.

I installed two of these. Both work very well. Installation does have to be done carefully, and it probably wouldn't seal well against an uneven surface.

This unique design was exactly what we needed for a door that rested over a threshold that rested below the floor level. The installation took about 20 minutes and the house is already experiencing the difference. The strip itself is solid and great workmanship. I recommend this product if you're looking for a tight seal on the bottom of a door.

I had just received this in the mail from Ace Hardware and when surprised when I opened the box and found it to be bent. At first I was irritated that the post office would damage my merchandise...but then I realized that the box it was in was perfectly intact, I put the door sweep in the box and realized that the store had used a box that was too small and so they purposely crammed it into the box in order for it to fit. To add insult to injury they have a %10 restocking fee and you have to pay to ship the item back to them. Considering the $9 that I paid for the item, it's just easier to eat the cost and try to make it work.
