If you have a double-hung window...when you pop the bottom window open to fit the air conditioner into the opening...there's a gap between the lower and upper window where hot air can get in. (Or cool air if you're silly and leave your AC in all year.)

This cheap strip of foam does a better job of sealing the gap than a bunch of old towels...which is what most people use. And it's a lot more aesthetically pleasing.

I am so satisfied and very glad I puchased this product. It used to be cold in my place and ever since I used this product, I don't feel cold anymore. I would highly recommend this product.

It's a piece of foam! It works well for the job and is a good price. I agree with the other reviewer, it looks a lot better than towels stuffed in the window, which is what we used to do (hate to admit it).

Not much to say except that when you stuff it in the window space between the two planes it acts as an ok barrier . I used it to double up on the one that comes with the air conditioner unit.

No problem with this item. I guess I didn't read carefully. There is no adhesive of any kind.
