The Lawson Plastic Bag Holder is one of those products that is so incredibly simple, easy to use, and amazingly efficient at what it does, you'll be asking yourself, "why didn't I think of this?" Nothing more than a sheet of rectangular plastic with one side smooth and one side textured and two hand hold slots cut out at the top, all you do is keep this baby curled up tight until you are ready to use it. Reverse coil it when you are ready to go, slip it inside a large plastic garbage sack and the sheet will coil open creating a rigid garbage bag with a flat bottom and wide open top ready for a big pile of leaves (or whatever). Genius.

The best part is that this device will allow you to pack the garbage bag to it's absolute ultimate capacity thus saving you in wasted garbage bags. When the bag is full, simply grab hold of the cut out hand holders near the top (make sure they're at the top when you start) and simply pull up and out. It slides out and the contents stays and you are ready to tie it up and start a new bag. I have a lot of leaves to pick up each fall and this has been a true time saving wonder for me. I guarantee you will love it!!

I expected a cylinder that could be doubled, then would spring open inside the trash bag. What I received is a long, slippery and unwieldy piece of plastic that must be rolled up in the opposite direction from how it wants to roll so it will expand inside the trash bag to hold it open. When this is done correctly, it does hold the bag open and therefore is useful at its intended purpose, but the cylinder that is formed inside the bag is not perfect, as the outer end of the plastic still wants to curl the other way. The bag keeps it from doing that, but doesn't have the strength to hold it in a completely round shape. While this item is effective at holding a bag open, it is more awkward to handle than I expected and not terribly easy to get into the plastic bag. It'll get used, but I'm not completely satisfied.

Better than expected. This device holds all sizes of lawn trash bags effectively and without any mechanical mystery. Just roll out the holder, re-roll it backwards and put it in the bag. Voila! A self standing garbage bag!

This is truly a helpful product. I had one many years ago and have been looking for one again for a couple of months. Little did I know, all I had to do was quarry Amazon.com and puff, that it was. Thank you for having miscellaneous items and people really need.

This holder holds the bag open and is easily removed when the bag is full. I used it for leafing and was able to fill up the plastic bags and easily remove the holder. This product does the job it is intended for.
