5Better crimps than ChannellockMar 16, 2012
By Rob
I used a Channellock 909 for many years until one day I decided to try these comparable Kleins. I have to say I like the crimping die on the Kleins better because I get a better looking crimp on the butt connectors using the Kleins. The Channellock 909 has an extra ridge in its crimping die, so ultimately it seems to bend the butt connector the harder I squeeze. I get more control using the Kleins and better looking crimps because the Kleins don't have this extra ridge. However, I noticed the Channellocks have a sharper cutter, but the Kleins still cut pretty good despite this fact.

5good crimpers for automotiveSep 08, 2009
By William J. Cook
When I started the automotive trade, my fellow co workers cared for me so much I got a drawer full of crimpers, pocket knifes, rounded off screwdrivers and other sappy trinkets. I finally bought a set of these. Nowadays I'm giving the newer techs my hand me downs and they think I'm the "thoughtful one". I guess its better than the Bob the builder set we gave a tech a few years ago.
