Easy installation. But make sure you know the color before orderingAug 29, 2011

I bought this hardware to use instead of the cheap hardware that came with a pair of bi-fold doors, and I'm sooo glad I did. Installation was a breeze, the components are easy to adjust, hold firmly when tightened, and the doors open and close smoothly and flawlessly. The directions, while not 100% thorough, are easy enough to follow. The included wrench was rather useless because it doesn't fit tightly on the bolt heads. No problem though because the head also accepts a phillips head screwdriver.

A word of caution: when I ordered, the stock image on Amazon showed a stainless steel rail. However, a quick jaunt over to the manufacturer website confirmed that this model (1700726H) refers to the BROWN rail. For most applications the color won't matter because you'll probably cover it up with trim anyway, but you should confirm the color before ordering in case you are planning on leaving the rail exposed.

When you buy hardware with bifold doors, the hardware is junk. This is ten times better. Ease of installation and quality of functioning with this is great.
