My best Amazon order? A toothbrush holder?Apr 11, 2012

I'm probably like most of you. This product is a good way to get your order total over 25 dollars for free shipping. I have all the disgusting, horror stories about toothbrush holders. The ones that looked the cleanest, usually had gooey gunk inside them which was nearly impossible to clean out. The ones that looked easy to clean had metal bottoms and the metal either corroded, rusted or just looked terrible within a week of purchasing. Looking at my Amazon history, since 2006, I have ordered 4 different toothbrush holders, not including this one and two of them were double the price of this one.

I ordered this one because I could see a nice stream of water from the sink would rinse this one's base right off. After 3 weeks of owning it, I have declared it the best product I've bought from Amazon out of hundreds of products. Not only because of how easy it is to clean, but it also looks nice in the bathroom and it's bulky. We ended up getting 3 of these. I wanted to add here that the holes are not small. I noticed one review mentioned this, but I have one in the bathroom I only use for getting ready in the morning while the wife uses the bigger bathroom. I keep a Colgate 360 brush, which is I would think, bigger than the average toothbrush in it with room to spare and also put my razor, which is even thicker, a Schick Hydro 5 in one hole. The only way I could see these holes not being big enough is if you had one of those large kid's character brushes.

We had a cup with a hole in the bottom. After about a month the crud and gunk would make me nauseated to see. We couldn't see the build up, and would allow it to go too long. I'm sure this lead to bacteria growth and could even lead to sickness. I considered the metal base, but after realizing that corrosion would soon be a problem, I found the ceramic one. This is perfect. Ceramic never corrodes, is very easy to clean, and non porous. No build up since you can see immediately when a quick cleaning is necessary. Highly recommend this simple product.

I ordered this and was excited to stop using a cup to hold our toothbrushes. Like the product but our toothbrushes don't fit through the holes. Our toothbrushes sit really high up which looks funny but I guess it beats the nasty cup we were using before. Will either be A. getting a new holder or B. getting new toothbrushes.

I picked this up because my wife was not happy with the gunk that was getting deposited at the bottom of our cup toothbrush holder, which was hard to clean. This holder looks great and works great, and is obviously very easy to clean! My wife is happier now!

The other stand I had would just get moldy all the time and was super hard to clean. This one is very easy to clean up and works perfectly to just hold our toothbrushes.
