5Dries, fast and tough. Can be painted minutes after use.May 16, 2006

I use this putty for sculpting mounds, rocks, flames and other embellishments on the bases of my Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 miniatures and it is just wonderful when you need an inexpensive putty that dries quickly. It starts getting hard in as little as 5 to 10 minutes, so it's not good for areas where you need the putty to remain soft for a long time while you carefully sculpt and shape it, but on projects where precision is less important than quick drying time or low price, it's just terrific. I've even used it to sculpt "Nurgle goo" on some of my Chaos miniature conversions. Best of all, with the quick drying time, you can start painting your project just 10 to 15 minutes after use. This stuff dries EXTREMELY fast!

Of course, it's also great for the purpose for which it was designed, as a utility filler that dries quickly and can be sanded and painted right away with little to no waiting time. This is a great product at a very reasonable price. A little goes a long way. Recommended!

I purchased this to patch a hole in the side of my garbage disposal. Despite not properly cleaning the surface the product performed excellently. It bonded quickly and strongly, patching the leak with no drips remaining! I have a ton of it left over and am looking forward to using on any other possible projects!

I've always loved epoxy, from the chip packaging of LEDs to the demonstration where you mix the resin and hardener and pour them back and forth until the resin suddenly hardens in mid-air. Therefore, when I had a piece of broken plastic furniture that I wanted to make sure could bear my weight, I was happy to try an epoxy based putty.

This putty performed put to my expectations. It bonded to the plastic delightfully, is quite strong in its own right, sets to where you can use the thing you fixed with it in under an hour, and being able to pinch off and knead a bit to activate it is quite convenient.

5Good for metal repairsMay 03, 2012

I use this stuff all the time on metal. Computer repairs (broken laptop hinges), broken tripod mounts, you name it. It's great because once it has set you can drill and sand it. This stuff + Dremel tool = perfect fix for metal components.

I've even made electronic components from it, using it to mold a connector housing for a magnetic disconnect switch. Fun stuff.

If they ever invent a "remove it from your hands" gel, I'd stock up, because it WILL fill in your fingerprints and make everything feel like you're touching microfiber for the rest of the day.

This product was perfect for fixing my wooden furniture with loose screws. I needed a product that would fill the holes, and strong enough to be screwed into. This product is VERY STICKY once it begins to dry. Basically, it is composed of a blue putty and a white putty. When the 2 compounds mix, they create a chemical reaction that causes instant bonding. It almost becomes like soft cement, and dries very quickly. Be sure to wear gloves because what sticks to your fingers will be very difficult to remove. The repair was successful with minimal mess. Highly recommend.
