Since my wife and I brought a Paramount popping machine we've been enjoying great tasting popcorn in our home theater. But after alot of popping I noticed a build-up of crud inside the popping kettle. How to get rid of it? Did research online and finally settled on this cleaner, and I am glad I did.
Some cleaning kits give you gloves, scrappers, steel wool pads, all of which did not appeal to me.

The Gold Medal cleaner is simple, my method varies from the package directions only because I don't wish to keep large quantities of pre-mixed solution around. Beings I have a 6oz. kettle I put a cup and a half of water in the kettle, turn on the kettle heat and stirring arm, than add 2 tablespoons of the cleaner to the water in the kettle. Allow the water to begin to boil, continue the boil for a couple minutes than turn off the kettle heat and stirring arm. Allow to cool down.

Holding a bowl under the kettle pivot the kettle down, catching the cleaning solution in the bowl. Discard the cleaning solution noting the brownish color. With a clean damp cloth or paper towel wipe the kettle and stirring arm. The kettle now looks brand new and ready to pop up tons more movie munching delights.

I bought a waring 25 popcorn machine for Christmas and found it almost impossible to keep the inside of the kettle clean. I found this cleaner and it is so easy to use it is almost effortless ! After popping a batch or two I simply add a cup of water and a small amount of the cleaner and allow the machine to bring it to a boil after allowing it to cool off I just rinse the inside of the Kettle out and allow to air dry. The inside of the Kettle looks like it is brand new again.

This product does exactly what it's supposed to do. No need to try and get your hand into the kettle to get out the grease. I'll be buying a couple of these jars again, just to make sure I never run out.

I use this to clean my large 160 qt kettle corn machine. It is awesome! I have tried other cleaners and nothing compares to Heat N' Kleen. I won't use anything else after trying this!
