These are terrificly sharp and create an excellent "pinked" edge. These will cut through heavy fabrics with ease. I am very pleased with these shears and the price is a real bonus.

I gave these to my mother and she absolutely loves them and mentions it frequently. They are very good quality and work very well. She uses them constantly when she's sewing. Instead of zig-zaging fabric edges to keep them from fraying, she uses these to finish the edges and she's able to finish her projects more quickly.

Much better than the heavy pinking shears I remember from Home Ec. Ligthweight and very sharp,they are comfortable to use, even with my somewhat arthritic hands.
