2Fell apart the day we got itApr 11, 2011

I love this TYPE of scrubber for my non-stick pans, but these ones just didn't live up to my expectations. They were smaller than my previous scrubber (which I can no longer find or I would have bought more of those) and fell apart immediately. It still does the job for now, but continues to unravel until eventually it will have to be thrown away as a pile of mesh. If you need something to fill the time before you can buy your regular scrubbers, go for it, but I do not plan to buy these again.

PROS:
- Easily scrubs non-stick pans, plates, and anything else that does not go into the dishwasher
- Does not scratch (at least not that I have seen)

CONS:
- Unraveled the day we got it
- Small
- Too expensive to not last

Update: The second one in the pack has lasted a couple weeks now. We have been extra careful while using it so that it won't fall apart like the first one. I still will not buy these again, but at least I don't feel as bad about my purchase.

I looked for these scouring pads on Amazon, because I could NOT find round mesh scouring pads ANYWHERE!! I have used these before and Love them because you can use them on non-stick cookware - AND - they last for quite some time and do a Good job of cleaning. Ordered 2 pkgs. just to be ahead! Amazon is WONDERFUL -- You can find anything and everything you Want or Need!!!!!!!

I got these because I couldn't find the "scrubbies" I used to use. These are pretty much the same thing. To clean my cast iron skillet after using, I wait for it to cool down below the boiling point and then while its still hot fill the skillet about 1/2 way with hot water from the tap. Holding this I just scrub lightly, no soap needed, and everything comes off. Then dry, give the pan a light oil, heat to make sure the moisture is gone, put the pan away. These do the job great.

These work to scrub out my cast iron skillet. The filaments are very thin, so I have to go over the surface several times in order to remove caked-on food. By that time the seasoning is gone in some spots. They also unravel and fall apart quickly. Verdict: better than nothing, but not rugged or durable enough.
