5Great Product! I've used it on over 100 projects.Apr 01, 2011
By Wyatt P. Colsaw
I make a lot of clocks and other wood projects including coffins, coffee and end tables, signs etc. I've used this product on well over 100 projects. I am extremely happy with it. BUT, to make it turn out right you need to follow the directions exactly. You should start out with a couple of small projects and plan on a little waste. It is designed to be poured on and let the excess drip off. After smoothing it out and removing the bubbles (I recommend a product called "Eat a Bubble". It works great) cover your project completely to prevent dust from getting on it. Let it sit for about 12 hours without removing the dust cover. Then sand off the drips that have dried. Be sure to wear rubber gloves and old clothes because it can get messy until you get the hang of it. Your success will depend on how well you mix it. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!!

1ruined my countertop!!!!!!Apr 30, 2012
By Jeff
Ive used this product 4 times. Each tgime it was the quart kits. The first two times were flawless. Worked great........Then the last two, never set up. Directions were followed to the letter. waited 7 days still like HONEY...Tried using a hair dryer like was recommened, made it WORSE, the crap just gets pushed around.
Nobody can figure out why, there is no fix. I am restoring a vintage camper, RUINED MY COUNTER....If I cant find a solution to harden it, the acetone will be needed to strip this GUNK off. Very disappointed.

5Easy enough for the casual hobbyistFeb 28, 2012
By Principaltim
I got this product to cover wood that I could put decals on and turn into cribbage boards. I read the directions, watched the video on the product website, and tried it out on my own. It was easy to mix and measure, and pouring was easy, especially on a level surface. I made the mistake of pouring and letting the object cure in a cold garage in the winter, but it still looked good. When I corrected and did the next projects in a warmer room and allowed it to cure inside, I was taken aback by the richness it brought out in the Tennessee cedar I was using. I highly recommend this for the casual hobbyist who wants to have professional looking results.

1DO NOT USE!!!!!!Mar 11, 2011
By duneraider
Do not use this stuff. I'm a very handy person and this stuff is a nightmare to work with. What they fail to tell you, that you have to waste half of the product on the floor to get it to lay flat. I poured twice on a 4' x 6' table and never could get the epoxy to lay smooth. I guess if you had a smaller project or something that had sides it would be much easier but I couldn't and this stuff make a huge mess all over the floor. Stick with a brush or spray on polyurethane.

1This product is garbage.Feb 07, 2012
By magicdave
First of all I bought the quart size not the gallon. I was doing a table top for a client that wanted a "bar top" type thick clear finish. I carefully followed the directions. I poured this product on the 1" thick red oak table top I had just finished building. I had two serious problems. The first problem was that it would not self level. The second problem is much more serious. It is now 2/6/12 and I poured the finish on January 25th and it is still soft. This garbage never fully set. It set to a soft thick semi-hard goo that has ruined what was promising to be a beautiful table. I am pissed and will never use this product again.....DON'T NOT BUY THIS CRAP.
