Mr."B": Trap is well built, with good solid welds. Jaws are the design that completely closes. Traps of this size require a set tool or something similar to compress the springs. Comes with a short tie-off chain. Does NOT come with instructions on how to set, so get a experienced trapper to instruct or a good book on how to set. This size trap can & will injure a person, so extreme care is needed while setting. Overall, the quality of the trap is excellent. Recommend it to those who need a large varmint kill trap.

I use the trap for coyotes around my chicken house. Details for trapping are better left to trapping books & experienced trappers. Proper precautions are required to insure pets are not caught; this is a humane "kill" trap. Be aware of your State & Local laws pertaining trapping requirements.

some guy kept bringing his hunting dog into my cornfield so he could poach some animals. One 0430 Body Gripping Animal Trap, set more or less legally, in the ditch next to the cornfield and problem solved quicker than you can say *SNAP*!
