My mistake, being new to the product type... you have to look close at that picture. See the grey oval? That says "TEXTURED" That means that there is grit in the mix and the fine print of the bucket says specifically NO SANDING. I needed smooth :(. So I have this bucket that came perfectly fast and Prime made it easy but personally I can't use it. The Smooth version is on Amazon BUT it seems that at the moment no vendors have it for fast delivery. I ended up calling around to every small and large store in my area and hearing that most of them had the Textured type from DAP but not the smooth... even stores said that it was a special order that would take a few days or more. I ended up getting a gallon bucket of Phenopatch Elastomeric Custom Patch from a pro paint store. There are a LOT more warnings about chemical dangers on what I got but the men at the store said it was the same product. The stuff I got says that it can be sanded. I put some up as a test and it takes several hours or overnight to set but then can be lightly sanded and painted. If you are in a hurry and want the DAP, good luck... plan ahead and get it well in advance of your project or DAP may not be available for you either.
