2Just about awfulJul 17, 2011
By D. LeCompte
I bought these to use in my Crosman C31 pistol. I figured they were a safe bet since they're made by the same company and they state that they're "premium BBs" right on the container. Turns out I was wrong. Nearly all of the BBs are full of pock marks and inconsistencies, or the copper coating has unevenly worn off. Try rolling one across a smooth surface and watch it bump along, unevenly zigging and zagging. The inside of the container is a hazy copper color from all of the dust of the worn off coating.

In contrast, I grabbed a container of Daisy zinc plated BBs at the store today and the difference in quality is embarrassing. The Daisy BBs are smooth and shiny and roll without issue. There are some with defects, but they are the exception rather than the norm.

I ran through a clip of the Copperhead BBs and immediately followed it with a clip of the new ones. The difference in accuracy was very noticeable. I've run through a good 500-700 of the Copperhead BBs in the time I've owned my gun and have had a hard time getting consistent performance. Time will tell, but if the rest of the Daisy BBs perform like the first clip I think I'm going to enjoy my gun quite a bit more now.

1Crosman BBs are full of defectsJul 02, 2011

The same exact thing happened to me as to D. Gebo. I had a box of old BBs from the '80s, bought a BB gun recently to shoot in our new big backyard, and could hit a coke can from 20 yards EASY. I had to buy new ones so I went with what i thought was quality (Crosman Copperhead). These new BBs have freakin craters! Every single one! I couldn't hit jack. The BBs move so much because of the defects. I called Crosman and they said it must have been a bad batch and were nice enough to send me a free replacement. The new batch was the same. Copperhead BBs suck. I now have 2 great paperweights.

4Okay, But Not Great.Jun 26, 2010
By Sofia Youk "Sofia's Son"
I was excited to find that my order came the other day. When I opened the box and got the bottle out, I was suprised that they looked pretty clean. The only bad things would be trying to cut a good hole open into the top to let the bbs pour out nicely, but it's okay. I say the only bad thing is that some of the bbs themselves look either rusty, dirty and the rest would be nice and polished looking. I don't know if that's how they're supposed to look but whatever. I'm fine with it. Overall, you should get these bbs cause they pack a good punch. Hit the bullseye everytime.

these bb's are very small not the nrmal size. i bought them and they were the wrong size and the way to open them is to cut off the top so if wrong size you probaly can not return them

Make sure you have a knife to open the bottle. Nothing more frustrating than getting ready to shoot and realizing you can not open the package of bb's. The bb's do bunch up in the bottle requiring you to tilt back and forth to loosen the jam... so not a perfect design but it works ok.

Buy the plastic bottle. I can just see the milk carton getting knocked over and chasing 2500 bb's under the furniture, out of the AC ducts, and everywhere in between.

BB's seem accurate in the Crossman 760 smaller bb gun. Grouping is great, accuracy is predictable. Able to aim within an inch and a half of Bullseye at 30 ft. (which could also be the site on the gun is slightly off). The key is the bb's are predictable so it is easy to adjust once you see where the first shot lands.

I wonder if the other reviewers received a defective batch of bb's.
