Low quality outdoor, motion-activated lightNov 13, 2010

I recently purchased this motion-activated light for my home. The feel of the light was cheap and unreliable - parts on the light are low quality plastic.

I then tried to set up the light and found that I could not get the light to stay off in daylight. I could get the light to go off but eventually motion near the light caused the light to came back on during the day. I eventually lowered the sensitivity to minimum and the light stayed off during the day. But at night, a large amount of motion was required to cause the light to go on.

The next day I discovered that one of two halogen lights (of the proper wattage) was not working. I removed the problem light and found the entire lamp socket attached to my light bulb. I looked more closely and the brass rivets had broken away from the light. The light was falling apart in my hands.

I removed all the bad parts and the light still worked but it had the same daylight motion problem.

These lights are cheap imports and not worth the effort. These are the cheapest lights, of this kind, I have ever seen - JUNK.
