3Not Really Sure If This Is Working As DescribedSep 08, 2010

I've used this product for my spa for a few weeks but I am still not sure if I got any results back from this.

Keeping spa water clean and clear is quit a challenge to begin with and the the biggest cause of cloudy water is unbalanced chemicals in water. I certainly knew that, but I went for a quick solution, so I purchased this product looking for a "magic" but it did not work at all.

I've always treated spa chemicals myself so I thought I had some knowledge as I never had to get in much trouble with cloudy water. However, I recently purchased a new spa (this is the 3rd spa I purchased, so you know how much work I've been putting into spas) with "salt chlorine generating system" for the first time and this is when the problem started happening.

I have to agree that it is much harder to maintain the correct chemical balance with this system, but it is awesome especially for people with sensitive skins like myself. I use much less chemicals than before and having no chemical smell in water makes spa experience much nicer.

I've done a lot of research and found out that I had to check the quality of water more closely with this system. After finding out that this "magic" I hoped did not work, I purchased a bunch of test strips to find the exact condition of my water (again, I never had to test this much detailed contaminants in water before), but successfully made the water clear by adjusting all of them.

Going back to this product, it may be a good idea to use as regular maintenance, but if you are looking for an instant result like I did, you will not be very happy as cloudy water will stay cloudy.

Just a little bit of this Clarifier will work well. I generally don't need to use it but when I do this product works just fine.

I should note that keeping a good PH in your tub will help prevent cloudy water.
