The product works. I used this in conjunction with PEX and associated connectors and it worked just fine. Thiis seems like a very well made, ableit simple, tool and should last years. I have no leaks, which means I did something right.

So yes this lil piece of plastic is rather pricey for what it is and i found mine at the local big box store a few bucks cheaper. However this handy device will save you time and cut wastage so if you have more then 4 pex connections to make i highly recommend purchasing this tool.

It works quite simply by jamming the pipe in the appropriate diameter hole and twist and your done. The ends will now be clean and you have the EXACT amount you need to feed into the other pex connector as you marked it while twisting right? :). I use the PEX quick connects so this really saves me time. For me it is one more click and the connection is finished and ready for use. Finally no messy glue, no mess, no wait until it dries just push the ends together and go. But the key is a very "clean" deburred ends and a straight cut end which this tool does surprisingly well even if in my opinion its about double the price it is worth in material. But then again it does save time so its a push, pun intended!

I got this to use with Pex and it works great. I havent had a problem with it. I am happy with this purchase.
