I tried this baby out on the bottom of my nosey neighbors sail boat. Can't wait to see him set sail on Lake Erie this year! Doesn't work with cordless drill, needs the power of the plug...

Everything about this tool is a bad idea. First of all, what they don't show you is that your drill has to sit on top of this device attached to the cutting bit. Fairly awkward to rotate the whole thing with a corded drill attached- or are you supposed to rotate the sheet metal underneath? They give you no instructions on how to actually use or set up the device. If you just want a hole, it might be OK, though it will be awkward to make one. If you want a nice hole, be aware there will be a notch on it because the cutting bit has to go down at an angle before it comes to an upright position. If it's the inner circle you want to use, be aware there will be a hole in the middle. Apparently you are supposed to use the cutting bit to drill a pilot hole for the pivot, but the bit is bigger than the pivot so there will be slop in your circle. There are very few applications where this cumbersome thing would make any sense.to use. It is a poorly designed tool.

Follow-up: I contacted the company and they told me to go through bizzare steps to find information on the web about how to use this tool. My point is, the tool doesn't work and directions should be included with the product. A customer should not have to go searching for instructions on how to use a product they have purchased. Don't trust this company.
