I purchased the same part number in 2001 when I remodeled the kitchen of my previous house and loved them. So now we are building new and as my appliances are all black I decided these would be an excellent choice. The description says they are solid brass, but that is a bold face lie. My last knobs were solid brass and we still had one to compare to, and it was obvious that these were much lighter the old ones weigh almost 3oz and these aren't even 1oz looking further I see that they say they are hollow but I'm stillpaying close to the same price as I did for real solid brass. Tapping the knob sounds like plastic and only the thread portion is solid brass. I do not intend to spend over $170 for plastic feeling hollow knobs and these are going back. I am very disappointed that the description is not true, it should say hollow knob made of brass in the initial description. I really liked the look but not when I'm being robbed. I had also purchased a different set of knobs for the mud room and they are a quarter the price and are solid brass. I have ordered another now that says solid brass and weights very close to what my old ones do so I know that they aren't hollow. I am grateful that Amazon continues to be a great place to shop and will take back items that are not exactly what we expect.Thanks Amazon, I will continue to visit your site first.

I used these grips on the cabinets we installed about 4 years ago. They're nice. I'm glad we used them.

Just as advertised. However, there are a couple of sizes from this manufacturer that are really close to each other. Be sure which ones you need. We were trying to match, so it was a touch different than what we had. Still looks great though.
