The heavy plastic window well was as advertised. It was shipped promptly, althouth the packaging was minimal and was coming apart. However, since it is virtually indistructible, all the packaging has to do is retain the address label, which it did. What I found good about the material it was made of, is that I could cut an opening through it (for an underground pipe) which I think would have been much more difficult if it were metal.

Received and installed this product as part of a new egress window construction. Because the hole is not too deep, a step out is not needed. This was the perfect product for this project. It is very easy to install, totally adjustable in the number of panels you can use, and it looks great. I was worried I would have to do either an oversided egress well with steps or an ugly metal well that is too small. This was the perfect solution in the middle of each.

If you have a need for a window well that is between 12" and 36" deep, I highly recommend this product. If you need something deeper than 36", I suggest you check out the one piece fire egress wells that have steps.

The company was wonderful - I ordered on Sunday and it came on Wednesday. The shipping was very reasonable. These window wells are great - very sturdy and they don't rust. They look really nice. Great product!
