Not what you want for daily use in your yard. Sun and abuse will weaken the fabric of the hose over time and create the pinleaks noted by other reviews. BUT it's great for occasional use, easy to handle and transport, very easy and space-saving to store. Perfect for campers/RV if you aren't a full-timer. I used it last year to weekly refill our garden pond during the winter - quick to drain & roll up before my hands or the hose froze, and could store in a small spot indoors by the back door. Hubby left it out to freeze a couple times, so by spring it was starting to leak. The ones in the camper are 3 yr old, used a lot (but not continuously), and working fine.

Works great and it's handy to store in the case it came in. Wish it could be used without completely unrolling it, but it's easy to wind back in. Very compact easy storage.

I purchased one of these hoses 5 years ago to replace a standard hose. I use it exclusively on my sailboat. Compact storage is of primary importance. I use this hose to fill the fresh water tanks and also for washing. The original remained odor free and contributed no off flavor to the drinking water througout it's life. The reason I had to replace it is because first a bulge and eventually a leak developed where the hose connects to the female connector. This was caused more by my abuse than anything else. Great hose! Great price!

I love the compact case for my RV. If you are not VERY attention and allow higher pressure to be used, this hose starts splitting along the seam, starting with pin holes and eventually lots of seam failure holes. I am buying another one, because it is approved for drinking water, but if I found one that fixed the seam problems, I would jump ship.
